I found this unplugged when checking out a starting problem. And i can't seem to find what plugs to it or if anything does. i know the green wire goes to the starter enable relay from here and the purple to the starter.

 

If your car is starting fine, I believe it's a remote switch connection for the GM techs to use when in service. I found one in my car as well.

What year is your car? If it's 1988 or earlier, it does not have a starter enable relay (they were only on VATS cars - 1989 & later).
