crank fuse
crank fuse
hi, i have an 89 trans am and im trying to figure out the last of my electrical problems. there is a 3 amp "crank" fuse in the fuse panel under the dash and i have no idea what it is for. it never seems to have power going to it, but the fuse is not blown. can anyone tell me what this fuse is for and when it is supposed to have power going to it? thanks.

Re: crank fuse
The CRK fuse will have power with the key on the "start" position. It protects circuits used when the engine is starting, such as: cold start injector, fuel pump relay.
