Need Help with Accessory Power
alot of my components like the fuel pump, electric fan, radio, etc i currently have wired to a toggle switch because i kept having trouble with the stock wiring.
Before i put the switch in it was either hit or miss with the electronics. If the car started it would run all day but sometimes after turning it off these comonents would not come back on again.
Im saying screw it to the stock wiring and fuses and relays.
I need the best source for accessory power. Like the first click of the key need to turn on my radio. The next click should turn on my fuel pump, electric fan, and ignition. Where is the most reliable place to get that power from?
i plan on just running a wire off that with a new fuse to these components.
Any help is appreciated.

Re: Need Help with Accessory Power
In the fuse panel, there are single slots that are open - I say single because a fuse has 2 legs and thus won't plug into these slots.
They are marked:
BAT - 12v+ always, regardless of the key
IGN - 12v+ only when key is ON
RADIO - 12v+ when key is ON, or when key is in ACC position
LPS - 12v+ only when lights are on
That should help you. They accept a standard 1/4 inch male spade terminal - just crimp one on a wire, plug it into the slot, and add inline fuse
