car wont shut off
i was driving my car before going to look for a daily driver before, when i stopped to look at the truck i was going to buy my car would not shut off. i could take the key out of the ignition and all the electronic elements(radio, tach) would shut off but the car would keep running.
any ideas as too what it could be? i have an 85 with a carbed 383 in it

its known as deiseling. it can be caused when the timing is off, or when something is backfeeding power to the dist after you turn the key off.
