I just bought a battery for my IROC about 6 months ago. Today while on the way to a car club meeting, My IROC's temp jumped from 210*, to 235*. My EPROM has its turn on fan at 190*. So I turned on my heater at full blast and at max heat to lower the coolant temp. While doing this I also had the 800 watt bass system bumping. So after about 30 minutes of driving with the coolant fan on and the system bumping, I stopped to pick up a friend. As I went to turn on the IROC, i got nothing. The battery was dead. So I got a jump start. My question is, what type of battery or alternator should I get?
