another blinker problem...

well tonight i was driving around and this new v6 mustang on 20 or 22s gets next to and i knew he wanted to race so and puttin three car lengths on him i had to come to a stop hard and fast. i stopped in time and i look down at my gauge cluster and notice my right blinker is on but not flashing, and i didnt set it to the right so in my head i said this d### car! well when i went to my house i did a quick inspection and and my left side turn signals work fine but when i put the right side on they dont flash but they are on and the blinker inside the car stays on. so has anybody ever had this problem and what can i do to fix it?

thanks in advance for the help guys

Re: another blinker problem...

You most likely have a bulb that's out. Take a look around and see which one is out, and replace it. That should fix it.

Re: another blinker problem...

ok so i checked the bulb and it was fine. but i noticed that when i turn on my head lights thats when the problem happens, but when im driving around in the day time it works fine. so could this be a fuse? i was also told it could be my turn signal lever.

Re: another blinker problem...

i had simlar issues that turned out to be a disconnected ground in the front light harness. bad bulbs and loose/disconnected grounds can do some funky things with lights.

Re: another blinker problem...

mine both work but they seem to get tired of blinking after a few seconds! lol. when I put my blinkers on they blink at normal speed then start slowing down until the blinker just stops blinking & stays on. any idea what it could be?

Re: another blinker problem...

I just replaced my flasher with an electronic one, because I was tired of the sometimes slow, sometimes fast blinking.
