took ecm fuse out to change vss.(didnt feel like unhooking batt.) anyway forgot to put it back in. but car still runs as usual. does that mean ecm bad? got( code 32) awhile back an still get it after two miles .but thought it was for egr. so i put new solenoid, vac line and egr valve on it. idk, but i want to know why it runs w/o ecm fuse in.

Two things come to mind. There are often two fuses labeled ECM, one for the engine control and the other for the VSS, ABS, and such. And could you have taken out the fuse that is actually below or above the ECM fuse? Confusing under there sometimes.
