acc fuse wont hold
acc fuse wont hold
i have an 88 iroc 350 tpi and i am having a fuse problem. I will apologize but i feal like this lengthy detailed description will be more helpful. First my radio wasnt ejecting the disc in it. a couple days later i had to unhook my battery and when reconnected it fixed the cd player. than again i had to do some work where i unhooked the battery only this time i dropped my wrench across both battery terminal!!!! I got back in the car and everything worked though. The next day at some point i turned on my car and my cd player was out which made me think it was just a cd player problem bc it was acting up before i dropped that wrench. that night i noticed my dash lighting wasnt working but as i turned the **** left and right i could get it to flicker for a second. soon that would not work either. OK. So i check the fuses and the acc fuse is blown and everything that runs off it obviously does not work. If i put a new one in it fries immediately. i unplugged the two wires from my cig lighter as another thread suggested and i unplugged the radio. neither worked. it still zaps the fuse out as soon as its put in. Any suggestions?? please help as i need my running lights to drive at night time!

Re: acc fuse wont hold
you could have a wire thats grounding out on the ACC fuse circuit. youre gonna have to trace them out and see. unplug 1 thing at a time on the ACC circuit until it stops blowing the fuse and that should narrow it down.
