91 hatch pull down ?
ok heres my problem my hatch motor wasnt pulling my hatch down, i searched this for with no results of my problem. i replaced the hatch pull down motor and relay i got power to the motor and when i flip the switch down the motor will kick on and stop after a sec or to but when i flip the switch up nothing. is the motor reversible? runs one way with the switch up and the other way with the switch down? could it be my motor? i put a test light on the switch and flipped the switch up and down it does reverse the polarity but does nothing when i put the switch back on the motor

Yes the motor is reversible.
If it’s the original the brushes probably need to be replaced.
If you can gain access to the commutator and turn it when it’s supposed to be turning, and turning it causes the motor to run, replace the brushes.

I've been trying get my actuator back on trunk latch I replaced properly and feel so defeated. Can you let me know how you got yours back on properly? When I turn the key, it won't unlock the lock, but the switch inside works flawlessly.
