Headlight motor fix

Hey there i got a 1992 firebird. My left headlight has been having problems coming up every single night for about a month. Every time i turn them on theres a nocking noise like its trying to come up. The only way i can get it to stay up is play with it for about 5 minutes till it flickers and i pop the hood and turn the ***.

my question is do i need to just buy a new one and install it or can i use this rebuilt kit to fix it?

Re: Headlight motor fix

You can repair them with that kit. I should know since I make the kit for Hawks.

Re: Headlight motor fix

i rebuilt my motors earlier this year using the kit from Lon at TDS and now my headlights work flawlessly fairly easy to do too, so well worth it, behold my most boring youtube video ever !
