hazard lights and high beam

hazard lights and high beam

my high beams arent working i searched the tread and learned that i had to remove the bottom panel due to the fact that its a rod that gets pushed down after time , well i removed the panel and pushed the rod down and it does work but how exactly do i adjust the rod i can not find the two screws that holds it in place i been searching the forum for pictures but cannot find them. Also my hazard lights dont work i saw another rod right next to the highbeam one is that the hazard light one or is it a bad relay or fuze please help i need this down to get it registerd in texas

The screws are holding the switch that the rod goes into. They are two small 7mm hex headed screws on the top edge of the switch at about 10 oclock looking down the column. Loosen them a little bit, slide the switch toward the wheel to take up slack and retighten.There are two little tin can looking things under the steering wheel side of the dash. One is the flasher for the turn signals, the other is for the flashers. Probably needs replacing
