Long story short

I was having a difficulty with my driver side light opening up without having to tap on the light itself or helping the motor turn. Then it blew a fuse.. changed the fuse and it was working until recently where it got stuck in the up position and wouldn't lower unless i manually lower it. Now my Passenger side motor is acting up as well it wont lower nor raise unless i help the motor turn.

How hard is it to switch the motors, and would the motors out of a 1987 or 92 trans am work in my 1984? if so would i need to splice wires to make it work.

I cleaned all of the connections and relays and even switched the driver side one and no luck.

I dont think the headlight motors beyond 87' will work with our cars. The whole wiring system was differnt and the motors are VERY different. The guy at TDS (Top-Down Solutions) can help. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to the headlights and Hatch Pull down motors.
