Can not find new headlight motors anywhere!

I am wanting to purchase new head light motors from cardone. I went to autozone, advance auto, O'reily, ect and no one has them. They are telling me cardone is currently out of them. I want to know if anyone knows of a website where I can purchase them I have the money ready, but there is no one I can buy them from. GM does not even make them anymore also. I need to contact Cardone on Monday and see if they still even make them. I'm staring to wonder if they do, because they have been out of them for a while.

You're not going to find new headlight motors. And while the above kit is helpful it ONLY fixes the common stripped gear problem. If your gears are fine this kit will do you no good. The best thing to do is what I did- find used motors and swap parts out of them til you end up with a working motor.

The electric motors are actually very durable. It's the rest of the parts inside that are the problem. Check the brushes, relays, etc. Regrease the gears and replace the motor gasket or caulk with silicone or urethane. I used pop rivets to seal my motors back together but you can get some 1/8" thread nuts and bolts at any hardware store to fasten them back together. And personally I don't really like the idea of a metal gear in these motors- the gears only strip because the OEM grease was crap and dried up. If you use metal gears and they bind up for some reason you'll toast the motor. They worked for 20+ years with nylon gears, i wouldnt exactly knock them. My .02

edit- I lied. Amazon has two Cardone remanned motors for $120ea+shipping.
