headlights wont turn on

headlights wont turn on
ok so my headlights flip up/down fine.
The parking lights go on, however the headlights do not. Also the blue light on the dash indicating high beams comes on when i turn on my headlights. Ive tried shutting the highbeams off, but the light stays on...
any suggestions on how to get the headlights to turn on?

Getting Bluelighted
Make sure the grounds for the headlights is good.
Due to the fact your Blue Light works, your brights should be receiving power.
Therefore using a voltmeter or test light (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) probe the light green wire coming out of the dimmer to find where the power breaks.

Make Noise, Turn Left, Repeat
