89 Popups into a 91?

So I hit a deer the other week and he took my drivers headlight and bent it backwards, the motor was shot in it though so im not that upset. I wasnt that mad because I had a set of 89 TA lights that I was just going to make due for a little while. Problem is the connectors are different and im not sure the assembly can fit in the spot for a 91. Anyone have any idea of what the 3 wires on a 89 are compared to the 2 wire of a 91?

Well, basically, you have to take EVERYTHING from the 91 light assembly and put it in the 89 assembly:

Sealed beam mount, including hinge piece
Headlight door
Headlight door bezel (plastic trim around sealed beam you only really see when the headlight is open)

If any of the above is damaged, then you're better off getting another assembly. Unless you want to swap bumper assemblies as well as the other headlight assembly. There really is no other way since the sealed beams, bezels, and headlight doors are different.
