ok, so no replys on my last post.. i have a 91 camaro i swaped the 3.1 v6 for a carburated 350 and th350 trans.. car is awsome except dealing with a short somewhere causing a misfire. if i unplug the plug from the altenator the car runs perfect. i have messed with those wires cant figure out the problem. completely rewired the altenator no justice there either. got a new altenator.. still the same...... i dont get it. as long as the altenator IS charging the car misfires.. if the altenator IS NOT charging the car runs fine.. how can this make since?? correct voltage from altenator. i love this car but im about ready to give up. never seen this problem before. im lost. does anyone have any clue or can u point me in the right direction? cant afford mecanic right now wife laid off and im good at mecanics until it comes to electronics thats why i built a carburated motor... go figure...... any advice would be helpful.
