help with dash lights when brake pedal is pushed

the ignition and light switch is off but my dash/gauge cluster lights come on when I engage the brake pedal anyone know what is the problem? please help. 1983 Camaro z28 crossfire injection/tbi

which lights come on the gauges? And does it happen every time you press the brake pedal?

thank you very much for trying to help. I found the problem. I had the wrog type bulb in the brake light circuit. had 1156 bulb in socket and it calls for 1157.

Way to go. You found it! Your welcome. I had that same problem you did before. The rear is very picky with 1157 and 1156.

all my lights come on when press brakes also 4 way flahers don't work where are the grounds located

Dash 4 Cash

The black ground wires come out of the dash connectors and go to the ‘Convenience Center’ bracket.

The Convenience Center is located behind the knee bolster.

The Convenience Center contains a the Hazard flasher among other parts (just to help you identify it),
and is to the right of the steering column.
