Alternator issues

Okay, so I bought a new alternator, 100amps and it was running at about 13 volts for a month, but after a recent rain storm, it is staying closer to 9-10 volts and its freaking me out. Can someone help me trouble shoot here?

Re: Alternator issues

you mean 9-10 v on a meter? or on the dash volt gauge? if you are relying on the dash gauge to give you anything other than wild assumptions you can stop now.have the output checkd out,and go from there
