Alternator female plug, where to buy?

1992 camaro rs v6 3.1
my alternators female plug busted into peices some how. any who im trying to find the right part as guy at napa just sold me some crap that dont work go figure

any who. been looking at these sites and it looks close to what it was..

has 1 big pin on alternator then looks like 3 little ones. but the old plug after broken. looks like it only have 2 plugs used an not sure what other 2 spots were for as no connectors ..
red and brown wire sticking out back of it
red on bottom brown was on top..

but ya not sure if those on those sites are just red / brown wires or if it matters or what?

Let me know please trying get this done... please

IIRC its a cs alternator just head to the bone yard 88-92 tbi, tpi cars and truck as will as many fwd vehicles. The pig tails are all over ebay as well.

what do i do with extra wires though just tape them off? if just have red and brown connected will it work?

You only need L and S for the alternator to work, in pin them and toss the unneeded wires or terminate.

Looks like it will do the trick to me , that's a really commonly used plug if your in a hurry head to the local junk yard grab a few for a couple bucks.

ok i got the new part from auto value. now i got 4 wires. a red and a brown. brown with red stripe and another with strip just hook up red and brown and tape off rest?

mine just has red and brown wires

ok cross fingers.. and is engine coolant boiling out to reserve tank normal??? i mean is it just that hot in texas

no, that isn't "normal"...

i might have a spare plug if you need to have an exact replacement. not 100% sure, but have what's left of a hacked up harness i got from someone else, so that may be in there.
