Wire aftermarket tachometer to lightswitch

Where is the best place to tap into this. I would like my tach to illuminate on/off with the rest of the instrument cluster.

Thanks

Re: Wire aftermarket tachometer to lightswitch

The easiest spot is likely behind the radio. There is a grey wire there that changes voltage with the dimmer.

Otherwise going to the headlight switch is the other place that works.

I like this idea. Right where I've already begun pulling other wires. Radio bezel already off so easy enough. Grey wire-got it. I'll give it a go.

Thanks
