Should connect to a blower relay to get the fan into high speed. You are either running in the lower speeds or it is wired without a relay. I see some other interesting wiring going on there.

Well there is a pic but... The wire is located in the harness around the pass valve cover ..right around the y in the harness

Re: whats this wire for
Last guy that had the car. Wired a bunch of stuff in.. It has a push start. Key is hooked up but starter wont run when key is turned. Brake light comes on when ya turn the key.. I am slowly figuring it all out.. Car has had the motor replaced in it so im not sure what all has happened... All i get when i turn the blower on is high speed nothing on the other settings.. .. Everytime i dig in to something i find a "trailer park fix" somewhere...
Thank u for the help though

Sorry Dutch, my computer overheated in the middle of posting a diagram to help you. I looked for a place to put an air dam on it but...
Anywho, hope you can understand it. You will need to look at the top right section of the diagram.

Come to think of it, you had the bad ignition switch earlier this week. I'd bet the two are related. If you are running the fan through the ignition circuit with no relay, it will go out again soon.

YW You're gonna have to tear into that harness and find the orange(probably connected straight to the fan) Black wire comes from the missing relay and is screwed to the inner fender. Purple comes from the relay to the resistor(on air box with the plug in your pic) then goes to the fan. The red wire you need to test for 12v+ the fusible link may be bad at the starter. Good luck.
Edit: on top of all of this you will probably find the resistor is bad if you are getting no lower speeds. Take it out and see if it is burnt in two on the coils.

Re: whats this wire for
So could bad fuseable at the starter also be the reason i have no start when i turn the key? Right now it wired up with a start button.
Re: whats this wire for
Anybody's guess right now looking at the wiring and your description, but there are three down there and they supply voltage to the whole fuse block. Test for 12v past the plastic connector on all of them. You can stick a needle through the insulation and use a test light or volt meter on it. Careful not to ground it out.
