stuck in a rock 92 rs
Im stuck right now with this Camero, ive switched out the multipurpose switch which was a pain but after I replaced it my ignition will not crank my car. We thought it was it was the recoil spring in the ignition, its dropping out but the car will not crank. Possibly a security mesure? Any help will help First post!

Wow. This is the same problem I'm experiencing with my 91 rs. My thread is posted right below this one. I wonder what is going on here?

These Cars ROCK !
Sounds like you dislocated a wire.
Using a voltmeter or test light (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) probe the yellow wire at the starter enable relay, which is located behind the left kick panel.
Is there power there when you try to start the car?
If not, trace it back to the ignition switch to find where the connection broke.
