86 tpi cruise control servo wire snapped on servo
Was driving on the highway with cruise and had to slow up. After speeding back up, I attempted to reset the cruise and it wouldnt come back on ever since. No cruise functions work. However everything else on the lever does.
Recently I installed new vacuum lines to the canister. They're a little loose but not enough to cause a leak.
What is the cause for complete failure? Will check the gages fuse today. The brake lights do come on.
Also I have never worked with this system before. Been looking up threads on here and have no idea what or where the servo or module is.
Thanks!

Re: 86 tpi cruise control servo wire snapped on servo
If the pin at the end of the cable is busted off, you'll need to replace the cable,... or 'rig' the cable to stay in the correct position some how. IIRC The pin should fit thru the hole and a washer/cotter pin thru the pin holds it in place.
IMO ---------> Looking at the pic it sure looks like the pin was set at the hole in the middle of the top row. I'd re-install the cable there first and then check operation.

Has been a downpour here recently so I didn't even notice the washer mark *head slap*
Since finding that cable has been a pita to find online I'll try and rig it up today
Thanks for the reply!
