Will this battery work?

Hey gang - 88 GTA 350 Auto. I know this may sound like a dumb question, but I'm hoping it's a simple answer. I'm looking to get the following Yellow Top Optima battery for my car:

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/o...=optima+yellow

Since I have a lot of custom electronics / amps, I feel this will be the best battery for my application. My question - it says online that this will NOT fit my car. But it's a generic line of text simply because the battery wasn't made for Thirdgens.

So my question - will it work? Will I be able to use this battery in my GTA without any modifications?

Thank you in advance!

Re: Will this battery work?

It'll work, it just won't be able to be secured down.

So on that note....for $232 dollars, I'd get a bigger Alt and throw a AC Delco battery that fits and be done with it.
