Extra slots in the fuse panel

I have a couple extra slots in the fuse panel that I would like to in the future be able to hook something into them. I have 3 blank slots where the power seat, power antenna and one other feature my car did not come with that looks to be tied into the main power. What would be the proper way to tie into these without shocking the crap out of me or setting fire to the car?

Re: Extra slots in the fuse panel

I got a friend in Trinity.

Just use a flat spade connector crimped to the proper size wire for your application along with an inline fuse for the new component

Re: Extra slots in the fuse panel

You can also get fuse block connectors from Pico that fit into the slots labelled "ign" and "bat". They're specifically keyed for ignition and battery power. There's also one available for the gauge socket in the fuse block that can be used for aftermarket gauges and offer the same dimming functions as the factory lamps.
The Pico connector replaces the spade connector as was suggested earlier (which works very well by the way) and it'll be up to you to fuse it appropriately.
