Put in HID's not my dash lights wont come on
Hey guys,
Just but HID's in my 85 Camaro. The signal 12v wire only connects to one of the original headlight plugs so I believe the car thinks the other head light is out there fore the dash lights will not come on. Anyone know how I can trick the car into thinking the other head light is in (short it out somehow) and it will make the dash lights come on?

You only need one 12v signal to rigger the HID relay/s, which then switch on the ballasts.Dash lights should work even w/out the headlights connected.So no trickery is needed.Something else is the problem.
Maybe you rotated the headlight **** to the off position, fuse is another item to check.

Thanks for the reply. I'll check the fuses again. Also i just found out I have one of the small corner tail lights out...could be that also. Thanks!
