Startling Startless

Did you replace those parts because you tested for spark and had none and still have none?

If yes, disconnect the 2 terminal connector at the distributor.

With the ignition in the RUN position, check for power on both pins of the harness.

Is there power there?

Re: no start

There is power to both conections of the two pin connector with ignition on.

Reconnect that plug and grab a test light (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester).

Connect one lead to the coil primary
(the ignition module side not the key side) and the other lead to ground.

Crank the engine.

Does the test light FLASH while cranking?

Be aware of the difference of FLASHING verses PULSATING which will be observed when you have the test light connected to the key side.
