Re: Fan Switch confusion

Somethin ain't right. I bought the car with a nonworking fan, relay was melted and pigtail too. I rewired a new pigtail slapped a new relay on and voila...fan worked. NOW, yesterday I rode to my bros all was good....on way back I look at temp and was pegged in red...stopped it, jumped relay and fan came on. Originally used electrical tape to rewire (I know but just wanted quick check to see if that's what the problem was) So today, I bought new relay and rewired properly using butt connectors and it still won't come on. Stumped. According to books and comments there is no fan switch on my 305 TPI. Any thoughts?

Here's some diagnostics on the 86 TA's fan.
