Cruise control wiring harness question

I debated putting this in the transmission thread; mods, please move it if that would be the correct location.

My question is this: I have a pedal harness from a 90 TBI Camaro with cruise control. I'm installing it in a 91 TPI Camaro with no cruise control (part of my T5 swap). This harness has all the provisions for the cruise control module, which I don't need. Am I OK to use this section of harness and just leave the connectors for the cruise control disconnected? Or will I need to make modifications to the harness? The wiring from the brake switch (which is the only thing on this harness I need) seems to be independent of the cruise control wiring.

I've browsed through a couple threads and hunted through so many wiring diagrams I had dreams (nightmares?) about them. It doesn't look like this would cause any problems, but I haven't been able to determine that for sure. Any input would be greatly appreciated! I will get some more detailed pictures of what I'm working with and post them later today.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Cruise control wiring harness question

Well, I (think I) figured it out. I was definitely overthinking things here!

That section of harness actually doesn't do anything for me; it doesn't send any signals where I need them to go. Instead, I just need to get the clutch switch wired up to the heavy gauge wires on this harness:

So I just cut the connector off of the section of harness I had and I'll wire it into this harness. Simple!
