Gauge cluster

I have a 1986 ta everything worked but the odometer I pulled the cluster and put another in it and it didn't work at all so I put mine back in and now the speedo isn't working everything else is but it all worked before

Cluster Buster

Sounds like you inadvertently disconnected something.

See if the VSS signal is still getting to the dash.

Use an audio amplifier to make sure it’s getting a steady signal.

Connect the amp’s input to the
gray wire pin 8 going to the dash at the dash connector on the right as you would a CD player.

If in 8 is not
gray your dash configuration if different but you can find out which wire is coming from the VSS by physical tracing.
