Gauge Fuse Keeps Blowing, Headlight Buzzer Won't Turn Off.
Last night while I was driving home my headlight buzzer randomly came on and stayed on for the duration of the ride home. Even when I got home shut the car off and turn the headlights on the buzzer stayed on even though the door is shut.
This morning when I started my car, my gauges didn't come on. I checked the fuse, it was blown so I grabbed another one. I quickly went through 5 fuses that everytime I simply turned the electronics on it blew!
I did some Googling and older threads tell me to check a pink and black wire? What pink and black wire am I looking for? If possible can I get a photo of what to look for?
Others say check the cigarette lighter. I don't think my cigarette lighter has ever worked in 5 years of owning my car. What specifically should I check for.
I am terrible with electronics and wiring so if I can get photos and easy explanations that would be appreciated.

Find someone that knows how to work a voltmeter and give them this diagram and this circuit operation sheet.

Your audio alarm will look something like the alarms in the middle of the picture. It should be mounted under the drivers side of the dash housing on the "convenience center".

Don't worry about your Cigarette Lighter - now ! ( that's on a different power circuit. )

Disconnect the connectors going to the dash.
Does the fuse still blow?
If yes, the short is in the harness leading to the dash, therefore follow the gray wire from the fuse to the dash connector and look for insulation rub-thru, a screw that might poke the wire, etc.
You should buy a volt-ohmmeter.
The low cost analogue ones are the best for this type of work.
Headlight Buzzer Staying On:
It can be caused by the small switch in the steering column not changing states when the key is inserted, or a bad connection going to it.
To find out, make sure the headlights are off, then connect an ohmmeter from pin B light green wire of the Audio Alarm Assembly to ground.
The Audio Alarm Assembly is located in the ‘Convenience Center’, which is to the right of the steering column.
Keep your door open for this test.
Now insert and remove the key.
When you do that you will see the ohmmeter go to 0 when you insert the key,
then to a higher reading when the key is removed, if the switch and wiring is intact.
