Ok at my wits end just got a fuel lvl gauge from amazon equuis gauge Before splicing in to fuel sensor wires I got the ohm meter and connected the pink and black I got 34ohms ,connected gauge with just pink sending wire and new ground and keyed ign the gauge pegs full or barley moves up alittle before e is it the gauge or just me I put about 4 gallons in from close to empty and suggestions?

Gauge is supposed to be 0-90 ohm but I should have read at least half right?

Also I spliced it straight from behind the driver backseat their was a grey pink and black

I've come to the conclusion that the gauge is not reading the correct ohm,fuel sender reads 34 ohm gauge pegged or if I change the wires around it goes below e
