Light in shift overlay out...what size is bulb?

I figured I'd try here before I went hunting through books for the size, but the light in my shift overlay went out, and I wanted to know if anyone knows if it's a 194 or something under there so I can just pick one out of my garage and put it in without unscrewing everything in the cold winter and realizing I don't have the size bulb, and getting annoyed.

Holy crap, guys. I didn't realize I made that all one sentence. Amazing, aren't I!

Time to rekindle this topic!

My light is out. It is NOT a 194, but about 1/4 the size of a 194. Anyone know what bulb this is?

I don't seem to remember it in my manuals, but I don't have them with me to double check.

Which light are you talking about being out? Where is it located in the car?

In the center console, the light that illuminates the gear labels (P,R,N,OD,D,2,1). You know, so I can see what gear I'm in at night.

I am having to edit this post because of a possible mis-interpretation of JUnderscore's post. I read it to state that his gear selector light was out. This bulb is a #194. However, upon re-reading his post, I believe that he is referring to the automatic transmission (PRNDL) lamp and this lamp is a #37 bulb. My apologies for the mis-understanding. Hope this helps you.

Thanks for the help. I was, indeed, refering to the automatic transmission light. I edited that part out of my last post. I thought it was redundant next to "P,R,N,OD,D,2,1." Sorry I forgot to mention that bit of info in my original post.

Again, thanks.
