I have a 1989 camaro RS with a 305ci. Its TBI and has a single fan in the front. The fan only comes on when the A/C is on but I can jump the fan on through the relay. I would think the relay is bad but I replaced it and its still doing the same thing. I just replaced my coolant temp sensor yesterday because that also went bad. Any ideas would help or clear up and location of where a ground wire would be or what the common problems are.

Extra Question that ive pretty much given up on: My car (automatic) always tries to shutoff on my when I shift into reverse or drive unless I give it a lot of gas. Ive been desperate with this one and replaced the ICM, Distributor Cap, Spark Plugs, Wires, and Fuel Filter but its only gotten worse.

 

Ive solved my issue, one of my ground wires was pulled. It was straight wired to the starter
