I have a 1990 camaro. It started pulled out of garage turned it off did some work in garage. Sat for a couple of hours went to start and nothing. Last time this happend it was the chip in key was damaged bought new onecand started right up. I've tested key in ignition with vats unplugged and turned key tested good. 4. 75. Put metter on other end on purple white and white and it reads -3. 57 can't get a positive reading. I have the meter on 20 k ohms. If I flip wires it reads 1. Ive checked fuse fuse is good. Please help car is stuck outside.

Re: Vats system

Are you sure your checking the right wires. Should be two white wires in a orange sheath.
