Fuel Gauge or Sender unit??
Unfortunately life got in the way and I had to let my Camaro sit in the garage for a couple of years. Just got it re- registered and insured. Took it around the block and with the exception of the Speedo and Fueld gauge not working everything seems to be in order.
My question is about the fuel gauge... 2 months ago when I pulled the car into the driveway and let it run (Which I did just about every 3 months or so while it was stored), the fuel gauge read about a quarter tank. When I drove it around the block it wasn't reading anything, in fact the needle wasn't even on the gauge at that point. How could I figure out if it's the sender in the tank or the dash cluster that is the culprit?? Or just replace both?
Thanks.
