OIL pressure sender/switch question
Hi everyone, here’s the question: I bought a new oil pressure sensor and a new connector (3.1 LH0 engine). This one came with only two wires instead of three as I have on the car (part number PT2324). Do I need the right connector or can I put on the two-wires one? Thank you!!

Re: OIL pressure sender/switch question
The 3rd wire is for gauge or idiot light. A 2 wire will work in place of a 3 wire if you do not have a gauge or light.

Re: OIL pressure sender/switch question
looking at RockAuto.com it shows the same oil pressure switch for tpi and 3.1l. Should be the same connector.

Re: OIL pressure sender/switch question
That’s the strange thing, even though the same part number the connector came without one wire. Meanwhile I replaced the sender with the old connector...
