Cruise not working
Cruise not working
Thanks for the help Guys! I'm now cruising. It turned out to be the mutifunction switch on the steering column, Whitch can be removed by pulling it straight out of the column instead of taking the guts out of the steering column, like I did, and replacing it with a broken one from the junk yard.
I did learn four important lessons!
1) experience is the best teacher
2) the mutifunction switch or cruise handle can be pulled straight out of the column, you don't need a steering wheel puller to replace it!
3) check the wires coming out of the back of the switch if you have a cruise problem, they tend to break there.
4) you can buy this switch at advance auto for $40.
