Rear hatch motor adjustment
Hey gang. Took the bird out on its first 2021 run, new scratches and all
Anyway, I replaced most of the rear hatch pull down motor assembly last year. Now, when i close the back window it pulls down and keeps running. So I use the key to unlock and nothing. I have to try and trip the switch to get it going again. I don't remember it being this annoying to adjust. What am I missing? When i search for this is all about adjusting the rear hatch window. nothing on the pull down motor travel up and down adjustment.

Well I think I got this figured out too. I put in new plastic ends on slides and they are tight as it gets towards the bottom when pulling the hatch down. They get stuck and the motor just spins. Garbage aftermarket parts unfortunately. Next up the internal lamp that lights up the wheel well. Comes on when it wants. Got a loose connection somewhere. Also review camera isn't working, when it did before.

I think I found the problem The grommet on the pull down rod is bad. The rod shifts a hair and gets caught up on the black plastic switch assembly. Never ends.
