Removal of bulbs for SES and INFL Restraint
Has anyone removed these bulbs so they will not illuminate? I have done some engine work and no longer need the Service Engine Soon light, nor do I need the INFL Restraint light as I have changed out the steering wheel. I figured if I removed these bulbs it would be good to go but, I am afraid if there is no power flowing through those circuits, it may cause other issues with the gauges.

As far as the SES, I wouldn't remove the bulb. Better to correct what is causing the light. Unless this is a carb/distributor swap...
Regarding the INFL Restraint light, it can be removed with no ill affects. Since the air bag is no longer in place, it doesn't matter.

You don't really need to pull the bulbs. If you pull the ECM for an engine swap then it won't work anyway. If you pull the SIR fuse or the SIR module it won't illuminate anymore

I removed the SES light bulb in mine since I got rid of the computer. Has no affect on anything.
In hindsight, I would tie it into the Choke/Alt light circuit...
