I just got a set of LED headlights for my 89 GTA and after installing them now they won't go down. I tried manually moving them down and they won't let me get past half way before re-engage them to the up position. Did I fry the headlight control module somehow with the LED lights? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Have the gears ever been changed yet? I know when I disturbed my headlights the gears literally said "done". The plastic gears were literally powder.

 

Are they bigger than factory style on the back of the light? If you can’t do it manually I would assume something is binding.

 

I'd disconnect the battery and try manually moving them up and down, check to make sure the wiring or the light isn't holding them up. Normally it will damage the headlight wiring before damaging the headlight motor if that is what is happening.
