Limit switches too good?
I just replaced the headlight motor in my 1986 TA, and it does go up and down now! However, the replacement motor (used) seems to be hitting the limit switches fairly hard and this results in the motor going up in a jerky fashion and occasionally stopping halfway. I also figured out with bench testing that the motor in it previously still functions if I bridge the fuse connection inside of it. How do I a) fix the new one and make it more reliable, and b) replace the fuse so the old one csn work as a backup?
