Replacement Alternator Bolts? - 90 Formula TBI w/ Serpentine
Hello! Does anyone sell replacement torx or hex bolts for the alternator on a 90 Firebird Formula w/ TBI and serpentine set up? I managed to mangle the hell out of the head of one of the torx bolts because it was frozen in place.
Thanks!

If you seek a factory fastener, you might also check with some of the people parting cars in our For Sale forum.

GENERAL MOTORS (auveco.com) I found these guys as a good source for OEM fasteners.
As mentioned your local hardware store may have a suitable replacement, take the old bolt with you and you should be able to match it to a hex headed bolt, typically automotive hardware is either grade 8 for standard hardware and 10.9 for metric, those are the grades you should shoot for but a lower grade like a grade 5 or 8.8 should work as well

Thanks for the info! Grabbed one at the hardware store and will be slathering it with anti-seize before it goes back in this time!
