lock/unlock switches on the door just click at the relay

Anyway to test the lock/unlock relay? located behind the carpet panel at the drivers side left foot in a 1986 camaro

Check to make sure the 12V supply to them is plugged in. Comes from the terminal block right next to that, behind the hood release, not the fuse block.

2 different connectors on the relay, I checked and only seem to be getting 6,2volts, Does the car have to be running? Someone put an alarm system in there and I am trying to figure that out and how to remove it.

thanks for the insite , i only had 6.9 volts at the connector and it seems to have been a faulty 30 amp circut breaker in the fuse block for the power acc. Tested both at the auto parts store and one was good and the other lit the test light but was dim, replaced it and now the linckage moves but sluggish so I will clean and relube all. thanks again.
