FUEL PUMP FUSE

Hi I have a 1986 z28 305 4 barrel carb 5 speed car. I can not find the fuel pump fuse I looked by the front passenger side inner fender by the battery and its not there. Problem with the car is I have no fuel going to the carb. I cant hear the fuel pump buzz with key on. I changed the relay and still nothing. I am trying to check all electrical before I drop the tank.

Re: FUEL PUMP FUSE

On my 86 TA the fuel pump fuse is a 10 amp (red) and its located on the second from the left at the top of the fuse box,
there will be red,red violet and yellow in that order. Hopefully their the same.
PS that fuse is also for the oil pressure switch

Re: FUEL PUMP FUSE

QJ without computer control + regular mechanical fuel would certainly solve the problem.

Re: FUEL PUMP FUSE

Early carb. cars had a electric low pressure fuel pump and a mechanical pump on engine. It may be on the choke /oil light fuse.
Not sure but this was earlier cars than 86'.
