Hello all, I'm having an issue with getting my trailer lights to work correctly with the car. My trailer is a 4 pin flat and all lights work correctly when plugged into two other vehicles I own, so I feel I can rule out trailer wiring as a problem. I have a 5-to-4 wire harness, Hopkins #48915, going from car to trailer: yellow/ lt turn(yellow), dark green/ rt turn(dark green), red/brake lights(light blue), brown/tail or marker(brown). Marker lights work, brake lights work: Issue I have is using the turn signal only will produce a flash that is fast and faint(and close to identical intensity on right & left) on car and trailer unless brake pedal is depressed. With brake depressed and turn signal on, light will work correctly, although somewhat more faint than I would like. Is there a fix to make turn signals work correctly when brakes are not applied? Car and trailer have incandescent bulbs. Thanks in advance.
