Oil/Temp gauge hookup
I have an 84' Z28 carbureted 350 swap. I didn't do the swap, but I'm guessing my oil pressure and water temp gauges never got hooked up when the swap was done (needle is always in the red, and doesn't move). Any clues on how to fix or even where the sensors are located? Video guides are always appreciated, as I don't have a lot of experience with engines.

Re: Oil/Temp gauge hookup
For temperature, look for a sensor that is screwed into the intake, probably near the front of the engine.
For oil pressure the sending unit should be near the back of the engine and will either have two or three prongs on it depending on which kind was put in.
If both of those appear to exist, and be plugged in correctly, then i would pull the gauge cluster and check the gauges. You can find youtube videos, etc. on how to do that with a multimeter.
