Swapping from an 89 engine/dash harness to a 1991 engine/dash harness, Should be able to trim back the SIR wiring on the dash side to free up a little bit of clutter, it does not connect to the ECM as far as I can tell from the wiring diagrams.

Can the same be done for the VATS and just disable the VATS in my tuning software EBL WUD? It's been so long I cannot remember and not quite ready to dive into the EBL Flash just yet. Will have other questions about that later. Or be better to just bypass the VATS in the harness itself and leave alone? It's been 20 years since I last did this on my 89 which has been severely hacked up a bit before and after I got the car.
