Starter Wiring Diagrams?
Need help with a wiring issue in my ‘86. I have a red wire cut that ties into one of the two wires that actually go on the starter terminal. Can anyone tell me where this red wire leads too?

It goes to wherever Stimpy that CUT the wire, routed it to. Follow it and see. Be prepared to be ... introduced to The Walking Dead or some such.
How THE HOLY LIVING HELL are we out here, supposed to know what Skillet did to your car? What makes you think that WE, out here, can GUESS what fever dream some drug-addled moron hallucinated that they were IMPROVING whenever they HACKED UP your car?
Trace the wires. DELETE and REMOVE whatever that bonehead did. Move forward. Don't waste your finite mental bandwidth on "why" or "what were they thinking" or anything of the sort. Just REPAIR your car.

From your vague description, it sounds like one of the main power wires for the car. The wires I am referring to are typically red 10 gauge and have fusible links on the end.
Is everything in the car that requires electrical power working?...

Yeah, pretty sure that's not factory.
That's hyeenous.
Gotta be one of the toughest things in our whole hobby to deal with, is "improvements" of all sorts, from cams to body work to electrical, to cars we buy, that ... aren't.
Hard to tell from the photo whether the wires themselves are factory or not. Kinda looks like they might be. Sometimes it's obvious; the wire you can buy at AZ or whatever, doesn't withstand soldering very well, tends to melt back real bad when heated up. Doesn't look like any of those wires did that. The thing to do now is, figure out which ones feed what, and where they're really supposed to go, and delete that "improvement".
