Berlinetta Wiper Control Board - Resurrected!
I'm here to share the story of how I resurrected the wiper control board in my Berlinetta, in case it helps someone else someday.
I have a 1985 Berlinetta. Several years ago my wiper control board (sits inside the cover for the wiper motor assembly) quit working. My auto shop was no help since the part is different on the Berlinetta than on other models and hasn't been made for many years now. Worse, when they reassembled it after opening it up to look, they didn't put the little arm piece in the right position and when they tested it, they shattered the arm and the peg it rotates on. If you have one of these, do yourself a favor and find the manual that tells you how to put it back on right or YOU WILL REGRET IT!
John in RI, the expert on all things Berlinetta, hooked me up with some dead units I could study and luckily one came with the little arm and a casing that had the peg intact. I built a 3D model in CAD of that little arm and had a replacement 3D printed.
Electronics isn't my area of expertise, in fact, I barely know how a circuit works. Thanks to Google, I learned that the most common components to fail are capacitors, so I took a shot in the dark and replaced 2/3 of the capacitors on my board. It worked.
These boards look to be mostly solid state, only a few moving parts built well enough they should last a lifetime, so odds are, if yours doesn't work, it may be something as simple as a capacitor. And if you need the little arm piece, I have some spares (thanks to the minimum order requirement from the place that printed mine) as well as the STL file I will send to anyone who requests it.

Funny, You just came up in a conversation with another Berlinetta owner with Wiper issues about a week or 2 ago. ( his Wiper cover got busted while pulling his engine.
) I'm glad to hear that you were able to craft / restore a fully functional Wiper Assembly; these things are ridiculously hard to find these days.I'd be interested in obtaining a spare cam "arm" or 2........ Send me a PM so we can maybe work something out !
If you have one of these, do yourself a favor and find the manual that tells you how to put it back on right or YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Picture of actual Wiper Assembly and Cam arm orientation:

Hope this helps !
